1- The gravity of planet earth in the Noble Quran:
Allah Almighty Said: "We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and inside their selves, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"
With this said, let us now look at what Allah Almighty Said in the Noble Quran:

Allah Almighty Said that when the Hour comes or is about to come, many things will happen in the Universe, among them is that the earth's gravity will be weakened. The earth will cast forth much of what's in it from mass, and then forsake its power (See the scientific proofs that prove this statement to be true in the sub-section below). This clearly proves that Allah Almighty did recognize or did mention in the Glorious Quran that the earth is currently holding us, or that it is the earth that holds. This is further proven in Noble Verses 34:9 and 52:44, further below.
"The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. (The Noble Quran, 21:104)"
Allah Almighty talked about the Big Bang that originated the Universe,
and the current constant expansion of the Universe, and the Ultimate Cosmic
Crunch that will end this Universe in the Glorious Quran. All of this
had been confirmed to be True by science today. Not only that, but
NASA had
recently discovered and confirmed that the
Universe is also as flat as a
"sheet of paper":

Furthermore, تخلت in Arabic, in Noble Verse 84:4 above, literally means:
1- To finally let go due to unwelcomed outside reasons, influences, or bad circumstances.
2- To be forced to stop protecting (Ex: When a mother gazelle, for example, is forced to desert her calf to a predator).
3- To stop holding on to.
4- To disown.

The key words here are "fall upon (نسقط)" and "falling (ساقطا)". Objects in the Heavens outside our ozone layer don't just fall. They each run in their own specific orbit. In fact, the Universe's paths are called orbits (معارج) in the Glorious Quran. Please visit:
Allah Almighty Saying that "fall" and
"falling" of celestial bodies from Heaven
clearly means, from the Noble Quran Itself, that the celestial body would
leave its orbit to collide with earth. Falling usually means
descending down wildly and out of control. It is not a controlled
descent, and the Noble Verses seem to suggest that earth has the control of
the timing and direction of the fall through Allah Almighty's Will.
This is further proved in the Noble Quran where Allah Almighty Said that we,
humans, will be able to leave planet earth when we have the protection of
a Sultan (mighty power and authority):
Naturally, we are physically confined to earth. We can't just jump in the air and ascend up in space. We need a Sultan to enable us to do so. Also, Allah Almighty did talk about the low air pressure in space, and the impossibility to breath in it with our natural bodies:
So it is the earth that causes things to fall on it, except for what Allah Almighty Wills not to.

This is Scientifically true, because iron, which is located mostly in the core of the earth, is one of the main reasons why earth has its current heavy mass and gravity. Without it, and without much of the metals inside the earth, earth would lose much of its mass, become light weight, and as a result, loss much or most of its gravity. There are countless planets out there that are 100s of times bigger than earth in size, but are much lighter in weight, mass and gravity than it. So yes, in order for earth to lose its gravity, it would have to first lose the metals and mainly the iron that is in it. Allah Almighty further Said about this:

The stretching of the earth and the eruption of the super volcanoes on a global scale at the End of Times was mentioned in the Glorious Quran 1,500 years ago. Without the stretching of the earth's crust on a large scale, the super volcanoes on a global scale would not be possible. This is because the earth is so pressed and condensed within itself, and because it is rotating around its own axle at a high speed, which is why it is bulged at the equator, in order for super volcanoes on a global scale to erupt, the earth's crust must stretch. And scientists predict that this is exactly what will happen when the earth is about to reach its doom. Scientists today have just recently confirmed this Scientific fact that was not known to man 1,500 years ago. Two hypothetical Super Massive Black Holes

100s of Light Years away, or even much closer just

The balance of gravity that Allah Almighty has put on earth, and its
relationship with our atmosphere's Ozone layer, and their relationship with the

a protective
roof (as Allah Almighty precisely Said about
it). This is the Balance that Allah Almighty mentioned in the Noble
Quran. If such Balance between gravities didn't exist, then even our air
and Ozone Layer would've vanished into space and life on earth would've been
impossible, and if there was a prevailing gravity from earth, then our air
pressure would've been unbearable, and everything on earth would've been just too
heavy; not to mention also our moon would've eventually collided with our
planet since it is only approximately 360,000 miles away.

This is referring to the 'Cosmic Crunch' that scientists have proven will happen. You see, Allah Almighty mentioned the 'Big Bang' which originated the universe and how the universe today is constantly expanding in size:
"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (The Noble Quran, 21:30)"

After all of this constant expansion reaches its maximum, then the Cosmic Crunch will occur and the universe will shrink. And this is when "The Day ye shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling-babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of God. Allah Almighty used such expression many times in the Noble Quran. Let us look at the following Noble Verses:

He causes the living to emerge from the lifeless, and He brings out the lifeless from the living. Such is your Allah! So why are you being diverted away (from the truth)? "Indeed it is Allah Who holds the heavens and the earth (under control), and keeps them from falling into disarray. There is no one except He, Who can hold them together, should they break loose and deviate. Of course, He is the most Forbearing, the most Forgiving! (The Noble Quran, 35:41)"

According to Dr. Zaghlool Al-Najjar, Allah Almighty in Noble Verse 13:2 talked about an invisible force that is lifting the Heavens. The key word here that we must pay close attention to is غير which literally means "different, " "other than," "not," or "without" in Arabic. See the Noble Verses is sub-section "b" below. Dr. Zaghlool Al-Najjar also said that there is a Divine reason as to why Allah Almighty explicitly mentioned the force of "pillars" (as pegs and pillars were the only known terms for support back then) that is invisible and didn't just say "It is Allah who raised the heavens without pillars." In other words, Allah Almighty told us that there are invisible reasons that only Him, the Almighty who is in full control of, as to why the heavens are raised and why its celestial bodies wouldn't come down crashing upon us, such as our moon, for instance, coming down crashing on us. This invisible force that is controlled by Allah Almighty is what we call today "gravity".
There is an intentional reason as to why Allah Almighty talked about an invisible support or force that is "holding" the Heavens!
(c)- The Arabic word غير throughout the Noble Quran:
As mentioned, غير literally means"different, " "other than," "not," or "without" in Arabic. There are a total of 150 Noble Verses that use the Arabic word, and every single one of them used it for a condition to negate another. Let us look few examples of how the Noble Word was used throughout the Noble Quran:
1:7 صراط الذين انعمت عليهم غير المغضوب عليهم ولاالضالين
"The path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your
blessings! Not the path of those who earned Your wrath, or erred
and went astray. (The Noble Quran, 1:7)"
2:59 فبدل الذين ظلموا قولا غير الذي قيل لهم فانزلنا على الذين ظلموا رجزا من السماء بما كانوا يفسقون
"But the evildoers changed the word that was prescribed
to them, to one that was quite different. Therefore, from the sky
We sent down a blight upon the evil doers, because they used to disobey
repeatedly. (The Noble Quran, 2:59)"
2:61 واذ قلتم ياموسى لن نصبر على طعام واحد فادع لنا ربك يخرج لنا مما تنبت الارض من بقلها وقثائها وفومها وعدسها وبصلها قال اتستبدلون الذي هو ادنى بالذي هو خير اهبطوا مصرا فان لكم ماسالتم وضربت عليهم الذلة والمسكنة وباؤوا بغضب من الله ذلك بانهم كانوا يكفرون بايات الله ويقتلون النبيين بغير الحق ذلك بما عصوا وكانوا يعتدون
"And (remember) when you said, “Oh Musa! We are weary
of just one kind of food (all the time). So call your Lord for us and ask Him to
provide us with what the earth produces _ the herbs, the cucumbers, the corn,
the garlic and the onions. (Musa) said, “Do you want to substitute the superior
(and the sublime) with that which is petty _ (the mean and the mundane)? Go and
settle in any town, and there you will find all that you ask for.” Disgrace and
wretchedness were decreed for them. They drew the wrath of Allah upon
themselves, because they repeatedly rejected the revelations (and signs) of
Allah, and (because) they killed the prophets without a reason!
Because they disobeyed, and used to stray beyond the bounds!
(The Noble Quran, 2:61)"
2:212 زين للذين كفروا الحياة الدنيا ويسخرون من الذين امنوا والذين اتقوا فوقهم يوم القيامة والله يرزق من يشاء بغير حساب
"The (temporal) life of this world has been made
attractive and adorable for the unbelievers. So they scoff (and poke fun) at
those who believe. On the day of resurrection, far superior to them would be
those who fear (Allah, and are dutiful). Allah gives (the provisions)
without any limit to whom He pleases.
(The Noble Quran, 2:212)"
2:230 فان طلقها فلا تحل له من بعد حتى تنكح زوجا غيره فان طلقها فلا جناح عليهما ان يتراجعا ان ظنا ان يقيما حدود الله وتلك حدود الله يبينها لقوم يعلمون
"If he divorces her (for the third time), then she shall be unlawful for him thereafter, unless she weds another man and he (too) divorces her. (In that case), there is no sin upon the two if they come together (in wedlock), provided they think that they can observe (and stay within) the bounds of Allah. These are the bounds of Allah, and He expounds them for the nation that understands. (The Noble Quran, 2:230)"

4- Conclusion:
Again, the Noble Quran is filled with scientific statements and notions. These are statements of Allah Almighty describing how He created things on earth and in the Universe. What's most amazing is that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to be in perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific discoveries. Allah Almighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood. The Holy Book certainly stood the test of time 1,500 years ago with Its Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous language eloquence, and it does again and again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreement with science and discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.
Allah Almighty Said: "We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and inside their selves, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"
Allah Almighty Said that when the Cosmic Crunch occurs, and the Hour's time has come, or is about to come, the earth will lose or abandon much of its mass and gravity through the excessive stretching of it, and also through the violent volcanoes and earthquakes. This is certainly Scientifically accurate and is quite possible and probable.
Also, in regards to gravity and the balance, Allah Almighty talked about the invisible force and invisible balance of gravities that He uses to hold the universe up and to keep it perfectly balanced. The Universe was not known to man 1,500 years ago, and no one knew about its cyclical systems, orbits, the expanding universe, the big bang and the future cosmic crunch of the universe, the speed of light, the water cycle and the fertilizing winds that without them rain would never be possible, low air pressure and lack of oxygen in space, the egg-shape of the earth, the earth's motion, the Ozone layer and it being our "protected roof", the moon's S-shaped orbit around our planet earth, the breathing cycle on our planet, the mystery of iron, and so much more that our video, audio and text files above thoroughly demonstrate. Yet, the Noble Quran's Divine Claims about all of these and more were all proven to be in perfect agreement with science.
And again, the balance of gravity that Allah Almighty has put on earth, and its relationship with our atmosphere's Ozone layer, and their relationship with the counter gravities in space, including the moon, is what perfectly keeps our sky up without either going down or going up, and also is what keeps our Ozone layer a protective roof (as Allah Almighty precisely Said about it). This is the Balance that Allah Almighty mentioned in the Noble Quran. If such Balance between gravities didn't exist, then even our air and Ozone Layer would've vanished into space and life on earth would've been impossible, and if there was a prevailing gravity from earth, then our air pressure would've been unbearable, and everything on earth would've been just too heavy; not to mention also our moon would've eventually collided with our planet since it is only approximately 360,000 miles away.
Indeed, all Praise and Glory are due to Allah Almighty alone for making the Noble Quran be the Perfect and Everlasting Miracle, for us humans, out of all of His Divine Miracles! And may Allah Almighty send His Peace, Mercy and Blessings upon our Beloved and Blessed Prophet, Teacher and Role Model, Muhammad. Ameen.

It is also relevant to know that Allah Almighty described the shape of the moon's entire orbit around the earth as a shape of an old and dried-out date tree's branch, also scientifically known and confirmed today as S-shaped. The shape of the old and dried-out branch of a date tree does resemble the letter "S". I provided images in the article that prove this. |
